Plaque Presentation In Memory of Jamie Fleming

Commissioner Chairman Rob Jones presented a plaque to Jamie Fleming's son Jacob during half time of the 7-8 year old boys Pickens Recreation (Mighty Warriors vs. Blue Devils) basketball game. Jamie was an employee of the Pickens County Recreation Department as well as an umpire, referee, and coach. He lost his battle with cancer on Monday, July 2, 2012.

The plaque read "In Memory of Jamie Fleming. Whose dedication, commitment and friendship has made a significant impact on the children and community of Pickens County. 8/17/1966-7/2/2012."

The plaque will be displayed in the lobby of the Pickens County Community Center.
