Weather reports on thunderstorms threatened the Wet & Wild Main Street Mania, but when checking the weather radar, they remained on each side of Jasper. Perhaps the four-leaf clover given to event coordinator Tacie Williams helped keep the event on track. It was a cool night, but it didn't deter children from enjoying the water slide after the thunderstorm threat passed. Southern Style kept adults and children dancing, and others enjoyed the tunes from the bales of hay and lawn chairs. The night was wild when the water balloon toss turned into each side of the street throwing them at each other.
