At the Jasper Farmer Market

All hundred begonias were given away, a Mothers Day gift from the Jasper Farmers Market and the Pickens Master Gardeners. They were grown in Zach White's greenhouse, nice healthy plants that should keep blooming all summer.
Randy Beavers brought some of his hand-crafted rugs to the market two weeks ago. I liked them but wanted a different size so he made one just the size and color I wanted and brought it to me this week. He lives in Dalton and isnít at the market every week but is a popular vendor when he does come.
The Jasper Farmers Market is a project of the Pickens County Master Gardeners. The Spring and Summer Season takes place every Saturday morning (April through October) and Wednesday morning (June through August) from 7:30 am to 12 noon in the Park n Ride lot at Lee Newton Park on Hwy 53 in Jasper, with the exception of the July 4 and Marble Festival activities and.
