Jasper Lions Club Independence Day Celebration
Below is the schedule of events for the Jasper Lions Club Independence Day Celebration including Fair armband nights, parade, entertainment, raffle drawing, bingo, fireworks and more.
JUNE 30 - JULY 4 ~ FAIR
at Lee Newton Park parking lots
Unlimited rides June 30 - July 3 for $25 ($5 Coupon available at local businesses)
Opens on Friday 5 PM, Saturday 4 PM, Sunday 4 PM, Monday 5 PM, and July 4 asap after parade.
10 AM ~ Parade on Main Street
Grand Marshal ~ Miss Charlee Ray

11 AM ~ Bingo at Chamber of Commerce Pavilion
ENTERTAINMENT on Stage in Lee Newton Park
11:00 AM ~ Dr. Carl McCurdy and Town Band play the patriotic songs and Sousa marches that set the mood for the July 4 celebration.
12:15-12:30 AM ~ Cole “Lil E” Posey—A seasoned youth Elvis impersonator sings your favorite rock-n-roll tunes.
12:30-1:00 PM ~ Rebecca Hampton and The Cowboy Church Dancers will ride in on their horses with a tribute to the armed forces. They perform interpretive dance, as well as, get the audience up to do some line dancing.
1:15-2:45 PM ~ Sons of the South— Anthony Hill is back by popular demand and joining him is Stacy Partin, Joseph Chumley, and Cody Trowell- performing REAL country music, Southern Rock and a little Gospel.
3:00-3:30 PM ~ ATA North GA Martial Arts—Local Martial Arts School will demonstrate martial arts skills, board breaking and weapons. Stacy Kisner will be on hand, providing more information on classes at North GA Martial Arts.
3:30-4:30 PM ~ StormTree Music—Joseph Adams/keyboard & vocals, Presley Barnett/drums, Gabe Folks/guitar, Conner Williams/bass. This awesome youth band returns, performing uplifting rock, pop and country covers.
4:45-6:15 PM ~ Andy Thacker, Cody King, and Dallas Hyde describe their music as bluesy, with originals by D. Hyde and covers of The Beatles, Elvis, and Cream.
7 PM ~ Featured Headline Band -- C.C. Morgan
10 PM - Fireworks
Raffle Drawing for Cricket Electric Sport Vehicle - $5 per ticket
