Pickens High School Football Season for 2017 ended after the State Playoff game against Cartersville on Friday, November 10th. Below are 2017 Statistical Highlights provided by Chris Parker, Head Football Coach. PDF with all season stats is listed at the end.

Team Records
The 2017 Dragons scored more points (429) than any team in the Dragons' 61 year history. The previous record was 404 set in 2014.
The 2017 Dragons had more yards of total offense (5193) than any team in the Dragon's 61 year history. The previous record was 4762 set in 2014.

Individual Season Records:
Jacob Brumby's 2874 yards of TOTAL OFFENSE breaks Shannon Brooks' 2014 record of 2690.
Jacob Brumby's 2457 PASSING YARDS breaks his own record of 1704 from last year.
Jacob Brumby's 172 COMPLETIONS breaks Tanner Brumby's 2012 record of 126
Jacob Brumby's 22 PASSING TDs breaks Tanner Brumby's 2012 record of 12
Zach Goss' 856 RECEIVING YARDS breaks Charlie Chastain's 1968 record of 751.
Zach Goss' 15 RECEIVING TDs breaks Shannon Brooks' 2012 record of 8.
Robert Davis' 460 KICK RETURN YARDS breaks Trevon Hawkins' 2016 record of 403.
Zach Goss' 45 Receptions ranks him 2nd in a season behind Shannon Brooks in 2012.
Michael Burrell's 52 Extra Points ranks him 2nd in a season behind Ty Chastain in 2014.
Career Records:
Jacob Brumby is the career All-Time Leader in PASSING YARDS with 4432 breaking his brother Tanner's record of 3466.
Jacob Brumby is the career All-Time Leader in COMPLETIONS with 318 breaking his brother Tanner's record of 278.
Jacob Brumby is the career All-Time Leader in PASSING TDs with 33 breaking his brother Tanner's record of 28.
Zach Goss is the career All-Time Leader in RECEIVING YARDS with 1318 breaking Charlie Chastain's 1967-68 record of 1316. Zach is only a Junior and will add to this next year.

Game Records that fell:
Jacob Brumby set a single game passing record with 340 pass yards against North Hall. This breaks the old record of 301 set by Tanner Brumby v. Johnson in 2012
