Free Concert Series Continues at Holy Family November 19
Sarah Hogrefe sings at Holy Family

John King Carter, Holy Family organist and choirmaster, proudly announces the next concert of the 2017-2018 season of free concerts at Holy Family. Mezzo-soprano Sarah Ellena Hogrefe returns to Holy Family on Sunday, November 19 at 3:30 PM. singing songs of Schubert and Debussy. Mr. Carter will accompany her on the piano.

In her programming, Hogrefe offers audiences a wealth of emotional experiences for enjoyment and contemplation, and invites each listener to explore what it means to be human. When she's not singing recitals, Hogrefe spends her time teaching voice lessons, practicing yoga, walking, hiking, cooking, and writing.

The concert is followed by a brief service of Choral Evensong, sung by the Holy Family Parish Choir. This is a free concert and the whole community is cordially invited. A reception follows evensong.

Future concerts in the free concert series include: December 17, a traditional service of Lessons and Carols; January 21, Reinhardt University chamber chorus; February 18, a vocal program with baritone Jarius Cliett; March 18, Titan Winds; April 15, Kennesaw State University Trumpet Ensemble; May 20, Jasper United Methodist Church youth choir.
