On Sunday, April 15, at 3:30 in the afternoon, Music at Holy Family proudly presents the Kennesaw State Trumpets in a free concert.

The KSU trumpets are under the direction of Dr. Douglas Lindsey. The ensemble has experienced tremendous growth over the last five years, now boasting nearly 20 members and a diverse calendar of performance opportunities. Recently, the ensemble traveled to Denton, Texas to compete at the National Trumpet Competition. They have also attended the International Trumpet Guild conference where they performed a prelude concert before a nighttime showcase concert. The ensemble has also played at the Trumpet Festival of the Southeast and has been a featured ensemble at KSU for various events including the annual trumpet holiday concert.

The free concert series at Holy Family concludes its 2017-2018 season on May 20 when the Youth Choir from Jasper United Methodist Church will present a program highlighting their upcoming summer tour.

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Family is located at the intersection of Griffith Road and Cove Road, across from Dollar General Jasper. For more information, please see www.holyfamilyepiscopalchurch.net or call 770-893-4525.
