How Sweet It Is
District 6910 honors Jasper Rotary Club

For many Rotary clubs, service begins at home. Each year clubs take on numerous initiatives and conduct various projects to help address a significant need or problem in their community. Some of these outstanding projects are honored through the Significant Achievement Award.
District 6910 is a very large geographical area of North Georgia. It contains 74 different Rotary clubs. Annually, only one club in each district is chosen to receive the Significant Achievement Award.
This year, the Rotary Club of Jasper was honored to receive this award for our Children’s Music Park. Our club is creating this unique outdoor attraction for children of all ages and abilities. The Music Park is located behind the Boys and Girls club at Roper Park.
We invite everyone to join us on May 30 at Noon for our Dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony. Following the ceremony, a light lunch will be served.
The Music Park is planned as an ongoing service project for our community. Your help is both wanted and needed. More instruments will be added, more concrete, trees and shrubs will be needed. Our site plan envisions a beautiful pavilion in the future.
