   1. Signed Proclamation declaring the week of April 10 - 16, 2011 as National Crime Victims' Rights Week.
   2. Signed Proclamation declaring Saturday, April 16th & Sunday, April 17th as Tate Depot Days throughout the County of Pickens.
   3. Signed Local Public Road Acceptance Resolution and Local State Route Acceptance Resolution which are required for GDOT Project CSSTP-0006-00(416) - re-alignment of State Route 53 West near Pickens/Gordon County Line.
   4. Adopted Resolution Amending the Pickens County Land Use District Ordinance (Ordinance #67) map in regard to Parcel 036-007 composed of 226.25 acres from Rural Residential (RR) to Agricultural (AG).The application was received from Elwin Bobo, Montana Land Company, LLC and the Pickens County Planning Commission voted 6-0 to approve the change.
   5. Signed a Joint Proclamation by the Sole Commissioner of Pickens County, Georgia and the Mayor of the City of Jasper, Georgia proclaiming April 23, 2011 as Health Fair Day in Pickens County and urge all members of the community to recognize and support the activity which will be held from 7 - 11:00 a.m. on April 23rd at the Education Annex of Chattahoochee Technical College.
   6. Signed Proclamation declaring April 2011 as Donate Life Month in Pickens County, Georgia to honor all those who made the decision to give the gift of life, to focus attention on the extreme need for organ, eye and tissue donation, to encourage all residents to take action and sign up on Georgia's Donor Registry at www.donatelifegeorgia.org, to discuss the miracle of transplantation as a family, and to make a family commitment to organ, eye, and tissue donation.

   8. Signed Proclamation designating April 24 - 30, 2011 as Administrative Professionals Week and the day of April 27, 2011 as Administrative Professionals Day in Pickens County.
