   1. Roy Dobbs - Chief Tax Appraiser reported that property transfers were down this year about 62 - 65% for comparison he gave the totals from previous years:
      2006 - 2,822
      2007 - 2,432
      2008 - 1400 (approximate)
4.     Consent Agenda
   1. Signed Contract Agreement by and between Pickens County, Georgia, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia, and Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner, an official of the state of Georgia. The authority for the enforcement of the State's Minimum Fire Safety Standards as set forth in O.C.G.A 25-2-12 (a) is transferred to Pickens County effective December 1, 2008.
   2. Opened new account (Payroll Account) at Crescent Bank (purpose: Direct Deposit)
   3. Purchased property located at 1258 East Church Street from Southern Health Corporation of Jasper, Inc. Closing date was November 21, 2008.
   4. Signed Intergovernmental Agreement between Pickens County, the Pickens County Development Authority, the Downtown Development Authority of Jasper and the City of Jasper for repair of the Woodbridge. Estimated cost of repairs - $80,000.
   5. New Account - Certificate of Deposit at Bank of North Georgia - amount $250,000. Account Owner Name: Pickens County Commissioner SPLOST FUND. December 17, 2008
