    1. Adopted Resolution re-appointing Freda Neighbours to the Pickens County Board of Tax Assessors for a five (5) year term beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2013.
    2. Adopted Resolution re-appointing Ted Cawley to the Pickens County Board of Tax Assessors for a five (5) year term beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2013.
    3. Adopted Resolution appointing Bill Cagle to the Pickens County Planning Commission for a four year term beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2012
    4. Adopted Resolution appointing Phil Anderson to the Pickens County Planning Commission for a four year term beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2012.
    5. Adopted Resolution re-appointing Harold Hensley to the Pickens County Planning Commission for a four year beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2012.
    6. Closed account at Jasper Banking Company. (Pickens County Road Department)
    7. Adopted Resolution to Adopt Pickens County and the Cities of Jasper and Nelson and the Town of Talking Rock Solid Waste Management Plan 2008-2018.
    8. Opened bids for a Tax Anticipated Note on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 @ 10:00 a.m. Received four bids: Crescent Bank - 7.5%; Community Bank - 4%; Jasper Banking Company - 3.6%; United Community - 3.61%
    9. Adopted Resolution Authorizing Pickens County to Negotiate a Temporary Loan with Jasper Banking Company. This is a TAN - Tax Anticipated Loan which can be used if needed by the County to pay the current year's operating expenses. The loan must be repaid on or before December 31 of the current year.
    10. Adopted Resolution Amending the Pickens County Land Use Ordinance Map in regard to Parcel 032-014 composed of 1 acre from Agricultural (AG) to Suburban Residential (SR). (Application for re-zoning from Donna Tremblay, property located on Jordan Road)
    11. Adopted Resolution adding the following roads located in Jordan's Crossing Subdivision into the Pickens County Road System: Jordan's Park Trail, Windsor Way, Hawkins Ridge, Kimberl's Way, Madison Court & Sylvia's Way.
    12. Pickens County has partnered with Integra Water for provision of County wastewater treatment services.
