   1. Signed Pickens Ferst Week Proclamation designating March 20 through 27, 2011 as Pickens Ferst Week in Pickens County. Pickens Ferst offers free books to preschoolers enrolled in the program; which will require over 1800 books to be mailed each month to Pickens County children.
   2. Adopted a Resolution Authorizing Sheriff's Auxiliary and Reserve Volunteers to be covered by the ACCG-Group Self-Insured Workers' Compensation fund; repealing Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict; and for other purposes.
   3. Signed Memorandum of Agreement By and Between the Chief Elected Officials of Northwest Georgia pursuant to the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.
   4. Signed Work Authorization with Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc. for Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing for Pickens County Community Center. Subgrade and foundation evaluation, concrete testing, field weld and bolt torque inspections. Estimated Cost $6181.00
   5. Interlocal Agreement Between the Town of Talking Rock and Pickens County relating to Building Permits, Inspections and Erosion Control. This Agreement shall be effective on March 10, 2011.
   6. Signed Work Authorization with Overdrive Concrete Services, Inc. of Jasper, GA. Overdrive Concrete Services, Inc. will provide the labor, supplies, and equipment to construct the curb and gutter and inlet structures for the Pickens County Community Center.
   7. Signed Proclamation designating April 24 - 30, 2011 as Administrative Professionals Week and the day of April 27, 2011 as Administrative Professionals Day in Pickens County.
