   1. Signed Contract for General Engineering Services provided on an "On-Call" or "Task Order" Basis by and between Pickens County and W.K. Dickson & Co., Inc.
   2. Entered into a Relocation Agreement by and between Pickens County and Georgia Power Company in regard to Old Burnt Mountain Road Phase I.
   3. Pickens County has been awarded a $7,500.00 grant for the Purchase of Services for Juvenile Offenders Program. The Council of Juvenile Court Judges of Georgia is the administrative facilitator of this grant.
   4. Signed Amendment to Lease Agreement Dated September 1, 2005 between John Fridley D/B/A AAA Tower and Pickens County, Georgia. Vanguard Wireless, LP is the successor in interest of John Fridley, d/b/a AAA Tower and agrees that Pickens County shall have the authority to construct a 40' by 50' building for the purposes of housing a County Fire Station within the boundaries of the leased premises on Monument Road.
   5. Signed Joint Proclamation proclaiming October 23 - November 3, 2008 as Red Ribbon Week in Pickens County and the City of Jasper.
   6. Adopted Resolution to Adopt the Community Agenda of the Joint Comprehensive Plan 2008 - 2028 for Pickens County, The Cities of Jasper and Nelson and the Town of Talking Rock.
