   1. Signed Memorandum of Understanding between Pickens County, Georgia acting through its Emergency Management Agency and Pickens County Board of Education. This Agreement establishes the roles and responsibilities of each party during a State of Emergency declared by the Governor or Presidential Declaration for a disaster.
   2. Signed Resolution appointing Jerry Barnes to the Coosawattee Regional Water and Sewer Authority for a four year term beginning July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2015.
   3. Signed Work Authorization with Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc. to provide Pickens County with locations for roadway signage indicating School Bus Stop Ahead or School Bus Entering Ahead along the Right of Way of Twenty Nine (29) County maintained roads. (Lump Sum - $3500.00)
   4. Commissioner Robert Jones and City of Jasper Mayor John Weaver signed a Joint Proclamation declaring October 24 - October 31, 2011 as Pickens County Red Ribbon Week.
   5. Signed Proclamation declaring November 2011 as National Home Care Month in Pickens County.
   6. Signed Proclamation proclaiming the day of November 6, 2011 as "RETIRED EDUCATORS DAY in Pickens County and calling upon the citizens to observe that day in an appropriate manner honoring retired educators
