   1. Signed Proclamation proclaiming October 23 – 31, 2007 Pickens County Red Ribbon Week in Pickens County and the City of Jasper, and call upon everyone to Raise the Standard of a Drug Free Pickens by wearing or displaying a Red Ribbon, and by participating in the wide array of Drug prevention activities during Red Ribbon Week.
   2. Adopted Resolution appointing Marcia Jasperse to the Pickens County Library Board of Trustees for a four year term ending June 30, 2011.
   3. Signed agreement between Pickens County and Northwest Georgia Administrative Services of Carrollton Ga. for the project as it pertains To CDBG requirements for Burnt Mtn. Center Grant - #07p-y-112-1-3327 – Grant Administration amount - $28,000.
   4. Opened new account at Jasper Banking Company for CDBG Grant #07p-y-112-1-3327 – Burnt Mtn. Center Grant.
   5. Signed contract with the Department of Transportation for 4.250 miles of Plant Mix Resurfacing on Yellow Creek Road beginning at SR 53 and ending at Cherokee County & on Matthews Road beginning at Hill City Road and ending at Henderson Mountain Road. (Project # PR000-S010-00(755)
   6. Signed a Joint Proclamation by the Sole Commissioner of Pickens County and the Mayor of the City of Jasper proclaiming the week of November 4 – 10, 2007 CARES WEEK in recognition of ten years of service to our citizens and urge the members of our community to support the CARES 2nd Annual Taste of Pickens Fundraiser. (Community Assistance Resources and Emergency Services – CARES)
   7. Adopted Resolution of the Pickens County Commissioner amending the Pickens County Land Use Ordinance map(Ordinance #67) map in regard to Parcel 064-018 composed of 36.16 acres from Urban Residential (UR) to Rural Highway Business (HB) with the following conditions: (1) Access to property must be located along State Highway 108 with proper accel and decel lanes and proper permits obtained from Georgia Department of Transportation. (2) All of the property fronting the county maintained Bethany-Cagle Road must have a minimum of thirty feet of right-of-way from current centerline of road. (3) No access to this property will be allowed off Bethany-Cagle Road. (Amendment Number 34)
   8. Adopted Resolution of the Pickens County Commissioner amending the Pickens County Land Use Ordinance map (Ordinance #67) in regard to Parcel 048-034 composed of 2.23 acres from Agricultural (AG) to Rural Residential (RR). (Amendment Number 35)
   9. Closed USDA – Water Improvements account at Jasper Banking Company.
