Signed a Joint Proclamation by the Sole Commissioner of Pickens
County and the Mayor of the City of Jasper proclaiming the week of
November 4 – 10, 2007 CARES WEEK in recognition of ten years of service to our citizens and urge the members of our community to support the CARES 2nd Annual Taste of Pickens Fundraiser. (Community Assistance Resources and Emergency Services – CARES)
Adopted Resolution of the Pickens County Commissioner amending the
Pickens County Land Use Ordinance map(Ordinance #67) map in regard to Parcel 064-018 composed of 36.16 acres from Urban Residential (UR) to Rural Highway Business (HB) with the following conditions: (1) Access to property must be located along State Highway 108 with proper accel and decel lanes and proper permits obtained from Georgia Department of Transportation. (2) All of the property fronting the county maintained Bethany-Cagle Road must have a minimum of thirty feet of right-of-way from current centerline of road. (3) No access to this property will be allowed off Bethany-Cagle Road. (Amendment Number 34)
