Safely destroy unwanted files for FREE at the Community Shred Day hosted by Community Bank of Pickens County on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9 am to Noon at the back parking lot of the Sammy McGhee Blvd. location (next to Burger King).

Royal Shredding will be on-site to provide secure document destruction.

What to Shred: All paperwork containing personal information, such as financial records, insurance documents, blank or canceled checks, income receipts, legal papers, and any documents with Social Security numbers.

Items That CAN Be Shredded:
★ File Folders
★ Paper Clips & Staples
★ Three Ring Binders & Binder Clips
★ Spiral Notebooks / Ledgers
★ CD's & DVD's


Items That CANNOT Be Shredded:
★ Anything Containing Metal (Steel, Iron, Aluminum, Copper, etc.)
★ Electronic Items
★ Extremely Hard Plastic or Rubber
★ Anything Possibly Containing Magnets
★ Plastic Bags, Cardboard Boxes
