The Sequoyah Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), will host a dedication ceremony for the America 250 Revolutionary War Patriots Marker on May 12, 2026, at 1:30 pm at the Pickens County Courthouse in Jasper.

This commemorative marker honors the men and women whose courage and sacrifice secured American independence between 1775 and 1783, in recognition of the nation's 250th anniversary.


The community is invited to attend this special event.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at Jasper United Methodist Church.
