In accordance with O.C.G.A. Title 36 Chapter 36 and Section 94-242 of the Code for the City of Jasper, GA, public hearings will be held on May 23, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Jasper City Hall located at 200 Burnt Mountain Road, Jasper, GA 30143, before the Planning Commission of the City of Jasper, Georgia.

1. The purpose of this hearing is to discuss text amendments to the City of Jasper Zoning Ordinance as to zoning procedures and other zoning matters and Sign Ordinance as to zoning districts and other matters. Proposed amendments may be viewed at www.jasper-ga.us.

2. The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the request for a variance from Section 94-16, Lot and building regulations, of the City of Jasper Zoning Ordinance. The applicant SDH Atlanta, LLC and Gary Copeland for Pinnacle Towns Development located on Pinnacle Way are requesting relief from the front setback from 25' to 20' for all lots in the development as shown on Pickens County Plat records at Plat Book 2022, 144-145 and 167-168. Materials for review may be found at the Jasper Planning and Development Office located at 200 Burnt Mountain Road, Jasper, GA 30143.

A Public Hearing will also be held before the Mayor and Council at the regularly scheduled Work Session on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Jasper City Hall.

The Mayor and City Council will consider the recommendation of the Planning Commission at the regularly scheduled Council meeting Monday, June 5, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Jasper City Hall.
