Join Jasper Mayor Raffield at Lee Newton Park on the stage (located in the grassy area north of Veterans Memorial Blvd) on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 am.

Mayor Kirk Raffield will have a special Public Safety themed book and will be joined by Chief John Sherrer of the Jasper Fire Department! There may even be some some fire engines and police vehicles there to explore.

The Mayor's Reading Club program, initiated in 2022, is facilitated by Georgia City Solutions-a non-profit organization overseen by the Georgia Municipal Association. Its mission is to enhance literacy skills and promote early reading success among children and youth in Georgia cities through the encouragement, support, and leadership of our dedicated Georgia Mayors!
