Memorial Day is not a celebration but a remembrance of those who are no longer with us. Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.

Memorial Day Service, hosted by Marine Corps League 1280, on Monday, May 29th at 10 am at Sunrise Memorial Gardens (across from Ingles).

The guest Speaker will be the honorable Mayor of Jasper Steve Lawrence.
