The Pickens County Co-Response Team invites the public to a Meet & Greet on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

This Co-Response program, a collaboration between the Pickens Sheriff's Office and Highland Rivers Behavioral Health, aims to assist Pickens residents experiencing behavioral health crises.

Co-response teams consist of a uniformed law enforcement officer and a mental health clinician who work together to respond to crisis situations in the community. Rather than making arrests, these teams focus on resolving crises onsite or transporting individuals to mental health facilities for appropriate care.
