The Pickens County Republican Party (PCRP) will hold candidate interviews for residents intending to run on the GOP ticket in upcoming local elections.

Per PCRP rules enacted in September 2023 (pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-153), the party committee serves as the exclusive body to approve potential local candidates. Any resident wishing to appear on the Republican ballot for the primary or general election must be interviewed and approved by the qualifying committee. This process includes a declaration of facts (affidavit).
