The Model Railroad, presented by The Tate Depot Train Society, is open for visits on the third Saturday of the month.

Visitors can enjoy operating HO and N scale layouts, along with a special guest attraction outdoors.

The North Georgia Garden Railway group will be on site, operating their traveling outdoor display layout in the depot's front yard, offering additional entertainment for both children and adults.

Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted. Free parking is available, and the facility is wheelchair accessible.


Located on Hwy 53 a quarter mile east of the Tate 4-way.

From Hwy 515: Turn east at the light at the Hwy 515 and Hwy 108 intersection and drive two miles to the Tate 4-way.

The Tate Depot is at the top of the hill by the railroad tracks in Tate, Georgia.
