[ October 01, 2026 ] The 44th Annual Georgia Marble Festival takes center stage this weekend, October 3-4, at Lee Newton Park. Visitors can come for the quarry tours and Main Street parade, and stay for the live music, local vendors, delicious food, and a free Kids Zone. Whether making a day of the festival or filling the entire Thursday through Sunday calendar, Visit Pickens has put together the perfect guide to what is happening around Pickens County.

Thursday, October 1
Start the festival weekend early this Thursday with some free local entertainment. Head over to Talking Rock Brewery at 5 pm to enjoy a craft pint and check out the local talent at their Open Mic Night. Visitors can also unwind with Yoga with Karen at the Pickens County Recreation Department at 5:30 pm, or sing their hearts out at Karaoke Night at I Love NY Pizza & Bar at 6 pm.

Friday, October 2
Friday sets the stage for a spectacular weekend with beautiful mountain sunsets and evening laughs. Enjoy free live music with a Sunset Concert at Fainting Goat Vineyards at 5:30 pm, or grab tickets for their special Sunset Supper at 6 pm. For a night full of laughs, secure tickets for the Standup Comedy Show at Talking Rock Brewery at 7 pm to keep the good times rolling.

Saturday, October 3
Saturday is the main event! The highly anticipated Georgia Marble Festival kicks off with a massive parade through Downtown Jasper at 10 am, followed by the festival itself at Lee Newton Park. The festival's Headliner Stage will feature live performances all day starting at 10:30 am, including North GA Clogging, Seth Cronic, and Caleb Wilkie & The Privateers. The community celebration continues with Oktoberfest in the Alley in Downtown Jasper at 2 pm and the free Autumn Nights under Hensley Lights at Hensley Plaza at 5 pm. Do not miss the great live acoustic performance by Stephen Vaclavik at Talking Rock Brewery at 4 pm, and wrap up an unforgettable day with live music at Rocco's Pub at 8 pm.

Sunday, October 4
The Georgia Marble Festival continues Sunday at 10 am with another packed Headliner Stage Lineup featuring RustedMelody, the Carpet Capital Cloggers, and Yes M.A.M. throughout the afternoon. Visitors can also browse unique handcrafted goods at the free Talking Rock Mountain Makers Market in downtown Talking Rock starting at 12 pm. Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the mountain air with a fantastic live performance from Brandon Stone at Talking Rock Brewery at 2 pm, alongside relaxing acoustic sets at local vineyards.
