[ July 09, 2025 ] Big news for the health and well-being of Pickens County students! Thanks to a new grant, the Good Samaritan Health & Wellness Center and the Pickens County School District are teaming up to launch Dragon Care, a brand-new school-based health center!

Dragon Care will offer convenient and affordable healthcare services right on the Pickens Junior High School campus, including sick visits, sports physicals, immunizations, behavioral health, and more. It's all about helping students stay healthy and succeed academically.

Opening this September for students, staff, and immediate family members! Get ready to learn more about how Dragon Care will support our community.
