[ November 29, 2023 ] Now that we have cooler days and nights, it's easy to imagine hearing those jingle bells ringing in the Christmas season. If you are at the Pickens Community Thrift Store, you won't be just imagining... the bells along with everything else will be in full swing in our brand new Seasonal Christmas Pavilion, located in the front of our garden center.

Currently under construction, the spacious enclosed area had its grand opening on Saturday, November 25th.

And here's the big news... The Christmas Pavilion will be open 10 to 6 pm from Monday-Saturday up through December 23rd.

We are able to keep the pavilion open extended hours past our normal closure of 2 pm because it will have a separate entrance. CTS management wanted to keep it open for the convenience of our working neighbors.

To be successful, this new add on will require additional volunteers. Please consider signing up to be a seasonal volunteer working a second shift 2-6 pm. We need cashiers and floor associates.
