[ November 02, 2026 ] Amazing Spring weather for the Jasper Farmers Market with many vendors offering many things. Crochet critters make wonderful gifts. Succulents in cute pottery for sitting on windowsills or decorating an office desk. And plenty of eats! Elevated pork rinds with flavor explosion, divine delicate delicious desserts, crusty sourdough breads, and much more like fresh lettuce, homegrown honey, and eggs. And don't forget the local meats.
The crafts abound with creativity from gemstone jewelry to custom made sewn products, cutting boards to statement tiles, you will find some great choices! Embossed to embellished it can be found at the FM. Flowers, plants, stained glass art, and hand made greeting cards. It's a fun place to visit and shop. Bring the pups to walk along. They enjoy the stroll as well as you will. On occasion you see a chicken on a leash at the FM. Sometimes chickens are looking for homes as well as parrotlets and puppies. Zach Henson has beautiful purebred black and tan mini dachshunds for sale.
If you haven't been, the Jasper Farmers Market is held at the Park N Ride parking lot across from the Veterans Memorial Park across from Lee Newton Memorial Park where the Chamber of Commerce is located. This park hosts a number of events throughout the year from fundraisers to community events. It's also a great place to walk or picnic at.
Next Saturday, May 9th, we'll be celebrating Mother's Day. The first 75 Moms will receive a free Purple Heart plant. Plus, the MGs will have their tent up as well with plants for sale, gardening information, and Master Gardeners to answer your gardening questions. The MGs sponsor the Jasper Farmers Market and help support the 4H youth program with their ongoing fundraising.
The Annual Spring MG plant sale will be held the following Saturday, May 16th, at the Barnes Family Agricultural Facility behind Pickens High School, 9 am to 3:30 pm. Inventory includes trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, heirlooms, vegetables, and herbs.
VENDOR QUICK GUIDE
Interested in selling at the market? Here are the essential rules for vendors:
Eligibility: Only local farmers, gardeners, food processors, and handcrafters may sell items they have produced themselves; reselling items from other sources is prohibited.
Fees & Registration: A $3 daily fee is collected per vendor space. New vendors must complete a registration form during their first visit of the year.
Schedule & Arrival: The market runs every Saturday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. Vendors should arrive by 7 am and must be fully set up by the 7:30 opening bell.
Location: Held at the Park & Ride lot next to Lee Newton Park (Hwy. 53/Church Street), with occasional relocations to Roper Park or the back of Lee Newton Park for special events.
