[ November 15, 2020 ] Longtime restaurant entrepreneur Jose Suarez has partnered with Jose E. Lopez and Jeniffer Perez to bring El Roble Tex-Mex Restaurant to Jasper, Georgia. The menu offers a blend of Mexican and American cuisine including nachos, salads burritos, fajitas, wraps, burgers, seafood, and steak (link to TO-GO Menu below).

Jose Suarez owns the Mexican restaurant, The Pueblo Cantina, which branched off from the Pueblo Grill that once was at the same location at 660 W. Church Street in Jasper. Even with the challenges of the COVID-19 epidemic, Jose was able to renovate the dining area with full bar to open Texas Grill in August 2020. After feedback from customers and the new partnership, it was renamed to El Roble with a new menu with opening on November 17, 2020.

Jose Lopez and Jeniffer Perez moved to Jasper this year to work with Jose towards full ownership of the new restaurant. Jose moved to Atlanta from Laredo, Texas a few years ago and met Jeniffer, who was living in Gwinnett County. Both come from families with over 20 years in the restaurant industry.

"Our goal is not just own a family restaurant but for everyone of all ages to enjoy a nice meal," stated Jeniffer.

El Roble Tex-Mex Restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. Like the El Roble Tex-Mex Facebook page for daily specials.
