The mountains will be roaring this weekend as JeepFest 2025 kicks off! Hosted by the Pickens Sheriff's Office, this annual tradition brings thousands of Jeep lovers, families, and adventure seekers to the trails of North Georgia.

Beyond the off-road thrills, you can be in the know that the entire county will be alive with live entertainment, trivia, and local shopping from Thursday through Sunday. Whether you're here to experience JeepFest or simply enjoy a weekend getaway, your small-town mountain experience awaits!

THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHTS by VISIT PICKENS

Thursday, August 28, kicks off a weekend of high-octane fun and local entertainment. For JeepFest attendees, the gates open at 5 PM for check-in, a concert, and a bonfire at Home Base. Meanwhile, you can showcase your musical skills at the Open Mic Night with Rusted Melody at Talking Rock Brewery or enjoy karaoke at I Love NY Pizza & Bar.

Friday, August 29, is packed with adventure. JeepFest continues with trail rides and a Show 'n' Shine Cruise In in downtown Jasper featuring live music by Eric Lee Beddingfield and Tyson Leamon. In the evening, put your knowledge to the test at Hard Hitting Trivia at Talking Rock Brewery, or enjoy live music from Hunter Flanagan at Old Mulehouse and the Jessie Albright Band at Rocco's Pub.

Saturday, August 30, is the main event for JeepFest with a full agenda, including a Vendor & Sponsor Fair, obstacle courses, Bounty Hill Climb and a Car Crawl Auction. Beyond the trails, you can enjoy live music throughout the day from a variety of local bands and artists, including CC Loud, East Bound and Down and Cai Gray. You can also get a good stretch in with Yoga at the Pickens County Rec Department.

Sunday, August 31, is the final day of JeepFest, starting with a Prayer Breakfast and offering more trail rides, obstacle courses, and the Vendor & Sponsor Fair. The rest of the county offers a relaxing end to the weekend, with live music from artists like Orange Walls at Old Mulehouse and Kurt Wheeler at Canoe Vineyard & Winery.
