[ October 13, 2026 ] While the State of Georgia recently made headlines with the rollout of its new official election sticker, Pickens County voters will find an extra special touch at their local polling places this election cycle.
Thanks to a creative partnership between the Pickens County Board of Elections and Registration and local art teachers, Pickens County students from second grade through high school participated in an America 250 art contest. Seven standout student designs were chosen to be professionally printed as official, limited-edition "I Voted" stickers.
A total of 7,000 student stickers (1,000 of each design), alongside 4,000 specialty America 250 stickers, will be available to voters during Advance Voting at the Community Center and on Election Day while supplies last. The winning young artists will also be formally recognized by county election officials at an upcoming Pickens County Board of Education meeting.
Advance Voting kicks off Tuesday, October 13, and runs through Friday, October 30. Local residents can verify their voter registration status, view sample ballots, and check polling precinct locations through the Georgia Secretary of State My Voter Page.
