[ June 11, 2021 ] Earlier today Jasper Police Department responded to an incident at Home Depot whereupon 2 individuals had been involved in an altercation in the parking lot.

Gunfire had been exchanged among the individuals; however, the scene is under investigation and the Department has requested the assistance of the GBI. This appears to be an isolated incident between the 2 individuals with no further incident to report and the Department has contained the matter at this time.

Further information will be forthcoming upon the involvement of the GBI.
