Angel Fund To Help Pay School Meal Debt

[ April 12, 2023 ] Many people in the community have asked for the ability to donate monies to help with unpaid student meal charges, and now the Pickens County School Nutrition Department has delivered!

Pickens County School Nutrition Services introduces an Angel Account. The Angel Account is available through a secure electronic platform that allows individuals to help pay school meal debt for families in need.

Your donations can make a big difference to many Pickens County families. Would you like to help families in need? If so, here's how:

The Angel Fund account to accept donations is https://www.mypaymentsplus.com in order to cover the cost of meals for students in need. If you don't already have an account you will need to register. Once registered, navigate to Events & Activities to access the Angel Fund.

The donations are placed in the School Food Service house account and applied to student meal debt remaining at the end of the school year for those families in need.

Any funds remaining in the house account will roll over to the next school year to assist additional students.

Thank you for your generous support of our students!
