[ April 17, 2023 ] The Pickens County Board of Education has named Dr. Josh Heath as Principal of Pickens Junior High beginning July 1, 2023. Dr. Heath has worked as a teacher, school administrator, and most recently as Coordinator of Accountability and Instructional Administration.

Dr. Heath shared that he has a passion for supporting the growth of teachers and leaders and has an unwavering belief that all students are capable of remarkable things.

Dr. Heath and his family are looking forward to becoming a part of the community.
