Jasper Farmers Market Report
Red Bean Harvest already offers hot chocolate along with hot coffee.

[ October 02, 2023 ] Thirty days hath September... Oh, boy, that was a fast month, but beautiful weather every weekend.

Veggies can still be had, especially squash. New vendors have joined the market, as well. So many good things to find each and every market day. You'll have to wait a week because the Marble Fest will take over next weekend!

Hyde & Zeek, hillbilly wear lead the tree side of the market. Fancy Fruit Sorbet was first in the middle row. Red Bean Harvest Coffee started the creek side row. Every once in a while our vendors end up in new spots, so always take a walk around. Some of your favorites are in a new place sometimes.

Brenda Romesburg's stained glass windows were sparkling in the Autumn sunlight. The customers had a glint in their eyes as well with so many pretty pieces of jewelry and Fall decor dressing up the tents.

The Jasper Farmers Market will return for the three remaining Saturdays of October as the weather cools. You can almost smell the hot apple cider in the air.

Red Bean Harvest already offers hot chocolate along with hot coffee. There will be new market dates and hours after this month.

Dare we say it? It will be a great time to start holiday shopping! There are some amazing choices at the FM for the upcoming holidays like decor and desserts. You can even get something to keep you warm like blankets, shawls, knit caps, fingerless gloves, neck and ear wraps. It's just too nice out to believe it's really going to change!

The Farmers Market will still be in the Park n Ride parking lot across from the Veterans Memorial Park. Hours of operation are 9 am until 1 pm the rest of October.

The market is sponsored by the Pickens County Master Gardeners. The MGs and the vendors thank everyone that has supported our local farmers market business!
