[ May 12, 2010 ] Going into Proof and Guys and Dolls, we have a very busy few weeks. This is a good opportunity to come out, be a part of our troupe and get to be good friends with "our gang". We work hard AND have a lot of fun.

Here are the work days and times and an outline of the kind of things we'll be doing. No major tool-using skills required, just a willingness to help and to have fun. If you can bring your own cordless drill, all the better, but it's not a requirement. Let me know if you're coming and what days. ? 5/22 10-1 work day at Bob's barn, prepare platforms, flats, etc for Proof & Guys. Possibly some backdrop painting for G&D.
? 5/29 10 till 2 or 3 PM -- build platforms for Proof audience, install rehearsal set for Guys and Dolls -- Bob's barn AND rehearsal hall -- taking stuff from one to the other and building at the rehearsal hall. Again, possibility of some painting.
? 5/30 install set, lighting at Pickens Chamber for Proof -- time will be announced, but starting in the morning.
? 6/6 strike set for Proof, carry lights and materials to rehearsal hall -- approximately 5PM on Sunday, after the audience is gone from the matinee that day.
Directions to Bob's:
Go west on Hwy 53, about 9 miles from 515. You'll have gone through the small community of Hinton (fire station on left). Shortly past Hinton, you'll have a passing lane. As the passing lane ends, angle to the right on Big Ridge Road. Jackie's Flower Shop will be in the V as you angle right. About 200 yards down Big Ridge, turn left on Ludville Road. 5th House on right, 464 on Mailbox.The shop is the big building to the left, drive toward it. Park on pavement or grass. We'll have the coffee pot going and will have some water and soft drinks for the workers.
