FREE AND REDUCED MEAL PROGRAM

Free and reduced-price meals are available to qualifying families. Families can apply by completing an online family meal application for immediate processing, or by printing a paper application or requesting one from a school cafeteria manager (processing may take up to 10 days).

Until notification of eligibility, families must provide their child with meals or money to purchase them. A significant announcement for the 2025-2026 school year is that households qualifying for reduced meal benefits will not be required to pay the $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch, as these costs will be covered by the State of Georgia budget.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

The Pickens County School District will provide basic school supplies to all students again this year.
