Thursday, January 8: Creative Swaps & Local Talent

Kick off the afternoon at the Pickens County Library at 4 pm for the New Year - New Craft: Supply Swap. This is a fantastic free way to refresh your hobby stash and meet fellow makers.

Head over to Talking Rock Brewery from 5-8 pm for Open Mic Night. Whether you have a song to share or just want to enjoy the acoustic atmosphere with a local pint, it's the place to be. If you're feeling lucky, Poker Night at Rocco's Pub starts at 7 pm.

Friday, January 9: Art & Intellect
Friday brings a mix of creative expression and friendly competition.

The Pickens County Library offers another free gem at 2:30 pm - Plants and Paints. It's a relaxing way to spend your Friday afternoon getting artistic.

Trivia Night at Talking Rock Brewery kicks off at 7 pm. It is consistently the most popular spot in town for Friday night brain-teasers.

Catch the Whiskey Mountain Band live at Rocco's Pub starting at 8 pm for some high-energy weekend vibes.

Saturday, January 10: The Big Celebration
This Saturday is a milestone day for the town of Talking Rock!

Talking Rock Brewery 5-Year Anniversary! From noon to 9 pm, join the party as Talking Rock Brewery celebrates five incredible years. This all-day bash is the weekend's headliner, featuring special releases and a community celebration. At 5 pm, the energy goes up a notch with Live Music by Surrender Hill.

Educational Workshops: If you're looking to build your homesteading skills, Riggin Farm is hosting Canning 101 (1 pm) and Canning 201 (4 pm). Note that these are ticketed educational events.
