Jeepfest 2015 was a huge success by any standard of measure as the event has grown each year since it’s been in existence. The "Crawl for the Kids" is an event to be enjoyed by the whole family, from the tiniest babe in diapers to seniors. The Pickens Sheriff's Auxiliary Unit is one of several volunteer organizations that support the Sheriff’s Office in this event.

The Auxiliary Jeepfest Raffle is a key fund-raising event for the unit. Raffle proceeds go towards supporting the various public safety, Sheriff’s Office outreach and sheltering activities that the Auxiliary Unit supports with the Pickens County Sheriff's Office throughout the year. This year for Jeepfest, the Auxiliary worked with Moss Firearms to provide five guns for the raffle. Up for grabs was a DPMS AR-15, a Sig P938 9 mm with laser, a Glock 43, a Glock 42 and a Stainless Ruger 10-22 Takedown. With the guns on display, people flocked to the unit’s tent to ogle the coveted prizes and participate in the raffle.

Winners were announced on Saturday evening at Jeepfest and those not present for the drawing were contacted. The PCSO Auxiliary Unit would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s fund raising raffle - especially those individuals who purchased tickets.
