ED B's Studio introduces Ed Brackin, the owner and founder of ED B Studio 54. Around two years ago, Ed made his leap into the art world with his intricate, yet simple metal sculptures, which range from crazy saxophone-playing statues to cleverly designed, spinning wind-chimes. Just recently, Ed began to produce stained glass creations alongside his other artwork.

All of Ed's sculptures are made from recycled material, and he has a tradition of giving back to the community of Pickens County by his involvement with organizations such as Keep Pickens Beautiful, as well as being a member of the Pickens County Board of Tourism.

If founding a successful studio and hosting an array of talented artists wasn't enough, Ed's adroit skills have earned two of his sculptures a place on display at the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport on Concourse T. Both sculptures, "The Saxman" and "In The Chapel," will be available to view for several months. Be sure to check them out during your next trip to the airport!

Ed is donating a dog and cat painting to be raffled off to benefit the spay and neuter program for pets of American Veterans. Click here for more information.

Ed B's Studio 54, located at 54 D.B. Carroll Street in Jasper, is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It's not your average art studio!
