Tater Patch Players has made the difficult decision to cancel the performances of 'Jellofish', written by Jim Henry for this weekend, July 21 through July 24.

New share night will be July 28 and opening night will be July 29. It will run for three weekends, with final production on August 14.

Patrons that purchased tickets for this weekend are being contacted to issue refunds/reschedule.

Jellofish is the story of four World War II veterans who meet to play poker monthly since 1946. They commemorate important events on history chips and as the play unfolds, a lifetime of memories are revealed. Five percent of each winning pot is set aside for their retirement fund. Discussions about what to do with this sizable fortune turn into arguments and Billy's cleaning lady, Judy intervenes. She is adored and revered by the men, who look to her for her common sense approach.

In the end, which player holds the trump card? Who will survive this game of wits and be the heir presumptive to their poker fortune?

Billy Diamatti - Tony Graham
Earl Mumford - Derek Perry
Alfred 'Kooch' Kuchinski - Steve Lewis
Judy Clabber - Melanie Espy

Director - Jan Simpson
Producer - Audrey Kirsten
Stage Manager - Elizabeth Mullis
Lights and Sound - Nick Coleman

The performance dates for this wonderful show are July 29, 30, 31 and August 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14. The Tater Patch Players Theater is located at 95 Philadelphia Lane in Jasper, near the Wal-Mart.
