11/5/2022 ~ by Pickens Arts & Cultural Alliance
ArtWalk Jasperís will return to downtown Jasper for a final 2022 event, which includes an impressive slate of juried artists, music, outdoor vendors, performance arts, and more.
ďI think overall the October event really built on the success of the first in September,Ē said event chair and Pickens Arts & Cultural Alliance board member Angela Reinhardt, ďand the feedback from artists, businesses, and attendees has been incredible. It feels like weíre gaining momentum and look forward to what November holds.Ē
In addition to juried visual artists who will be inside downtown businesses, attendees of the Friday, Nov. 11 event from 6-9 p.m. will enjoy music from The Bent Tree Mountain Jazz, and other musicians who played along Main Street including Andy Thacker at The Old Jail and Jonathan Pruitt near Synovus Bank. There will be a special performance art piece at Bad Donkey Studio, which offered their space for the show, in addition to and a larger outdoor artist vendor area at the Synovus Bank parking lot.
The Lunch Box will host a food truck at the parking lot on North Main Street near the old Entegra Bank drive-thru, and Dos Margaritas will be set up inside Red Bean Harvest where other artists vendors will display their works.
Maps of the event will be linked to QR codes on posters and signs downtown, on ArtWalk Jasperís Facebook page, and will also be available online and in limited printed copies that evening.
