The Pickens County Senior Center hosted a Birthday Celebration for the following Pickens County World War II veterans:

Mr. Roy Hughes ~ 98 years old
Navy - 2 Purple Hearts

Mr. Russell Pendley ~ 96 years old
Army

Ms. Doris Martin ~ 95 years old
Women's Army Corps

Daughters of the American Revolution Sequoyah Chapter of Pickens County, GA donated Quilts of Valor to all three. Video below to the left.
