Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on the 11th of August 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the Pickens Room located at the Pickens County Administration Building, 1266 East Church Street, Jasper, Georgia, before the Planning Commission of Pickens County, Georgia. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss a request from

1. Blue-Green Fish, LLC to rezone 1.72 acres of a 13.72-acre tract known as parcel 044A 002, located at 253 Happy Trails Way, from Agriculture (AG) to Rural Residential (RR).

2. Aldberto Ramos to rezone 1.5 (+/-) acres of a 7.87-acre tract known as parcel 050 028, located at Hwy 53 East, from Rural Residential (RR) to Highway Business (HB).

3. Mary Jo Dillard to rezone a 3.6076-acre tract known as parcel 031-113-001, located at 3432 Highway 53 West, from Agriculture (AG) to Rural Residential (RR). The purpose of this request is to create two lots.

The recommendation of the Planning Commission will be brought before the Board of Commissioners on September 15th, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
