Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on the 13th of April 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the Pickens Room located at the Pickens County Administration Building, 1266 East Church Street, Jasper, Georgia, before the Planning Commission of Pickens County, Georgia. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss a request from:

1. Bill Roland, to rezone a 2.0-acres of a 13.78-acre tract known as parcel 053A 095, 315 Liberty Lane, Jasper, GA 30143, from Agricultural (AG) to Highway Business (HB). The purpose of this request is to create flex warehouse space.

2. Edward Scott McAliley, to rezone a 10.58-acre tract known as parcel 052A 022, 3228 Highway 53 East, Jasper, GA 30143, from Rural Residential (RR) to Highway Business (HB). The purpose of this request is to market the property for commercial use.

The recommendation of the Planning Commission will be brought before the Board of Commissioners on May 18th, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
