Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on the 10th of August 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the Pickens Room located at the Pickens County Administration Building, 1266 East Church Street, Jasper, Georgia, before the Planning Commission of Pickens County, Georgia. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss a request from:

1. Curtis Roper, to rezone a 13.55-acre tract known as parcel 069 027 009, located at 580 Eagle Perch Rd, Ball Ground, GA 30107 from Agricultural (AG) to Rural Residential (RR). The purpose of this request is to create buildable lots.

2. Patricia Stanfield, to rezone 19.24 +/- acres known as parcels 039 012 001, 039 011 001 and 039 012, located at 977 Mullinax Rd and 0 Mullinax Rd, Jasper, GA from Agricultural (AG) to Rural Residential (RR). The purpose of this request is to create two lots.

3. Nancy Maddox, on behalf of TWC, LLC, to rezone a 4.5+/- acres of a 16.63-acre tract, known as parcel 053D 043, located at 3418 Refuge Rd, Jasper, GA 30143 from Rural Residential (RR) to Neighborhood Commercial. The purpose of this request is for relocation of administrative offices.

The recommendation of the Planning Commission will be brought before the Board of Commissioners on September 21, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on the 17th of August 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in the Commission Conference Room, Suite 168, located at the Pickens County Administration Building, 1266 East Church Street, Jasper, Georgia, before the Pickens County Board of Commissioners.

The purpose of this hearing is to discuss a request from Tumbling Trestle Farms and Ranch, LLC to rezone a 6.12-acre tract known as parcel 068 071, located at 786 Four Mile Church Rd, Ball Ground, GA, 30107, from Rural Residential (RR) to Agricultural (AG). The purpose of this request is to combine with neighboring parcels.
