[ August 28, 2023 ] Fall is right around the corner and that means there are plenty of events and festivals to attend in the North Georgia Mountains.

Mark your calendars for the following events to know in Pickens County:

SHERIFF'S JEEPFEST
August 31 - September 3
A 3-Day Jeep Event with Trail Rides, Home Base with Obstacle Courses, Food, and Vendors, as well as Show & Shine with concert on Main Street in downtown Jasper. Proceeds benefit Children Charities. Free for spectators.


ARTWALK JASPER
September 22
October 27
Stroll Main Street for an evening of Art & Music. Free to attend.


THE LONG TABLE ON MAIN - MONTE CARLO CASINO NIGHT
September 30
North Georgia Family Partners annual fundraiser for efforts to eliminate child abuse in Pickens County. Featuring dinner, dancing, and Casino Games on Main Street in Jasper. Ticketed event - only 150 tickets sold.


GEORGIA MARBLE FESTIVAL
October 7 & 8
The annual Georgia Marble Festival is the first weekend of October featuring a road race, parade, marble quarry tours, and festival with FREE KIDS ZONE! Fee to enter festival, road race, parade, and quarry tours.


JASPER DOWNTOWN LIVE
October 14
Live music by Sam Burchfield with opening act Mountain City Mavericks, shopping, food and drinks, and kids area in downtown Jasper. Free to attend.


HERITAGE DAYS
October 21 & 22
A 2-day festival in Talking Rock that includes vendors, food, and music. Free to attend.


TATE DAY
November 4
Tate Day features a Parade, Arts & Crafts Vendors, Tours of Marble Quarry, Historic Tate Gym, and Tate Elementary School (the Historic Marble School), and Children's activities. Free to attend. Fee for Quarry Tours.


HOLIDAY MARKET IN JASPER
November 17 & 18
A two-day shopping event with vendors offering unique gifts for your holiday shopping. Friday Night Extravaganza is a ticketed event. $1 donation to shop on Saturday.


NIGHT OF LIGHTS CELEBRATION
December 3
The Night of Lights Celebration features local entertainment before the Christmas Parade at 6 pm on Main Street in downtown Jasper. Free to attend but please bring a toy for Toys for Tots.
